October 2007 Trestleboard

Well here we go again.  It sure felt good to get back to Lodge.  Our first gathering after the break was very eventful.  Thanks goes out to our line for doing I thought a very fine job of opening and closing.  Keep up the good work Brothers.

 A couple of things that I would like to bring up is the excellent work one of our Jobs Daughter did in bringing home the national honors of the world with her ritual work.  WM Dan Brooks, Brothers Mike and Mark were given the task of coming up with some rewards for her and possibly a dinner.

             The wall project is coming along fine and I would like to send out a special thanks to those Brothers who are pitching in after their hard days of day jobs to strengthen our Lodge building.  Thanks to WB Dick for his expertise in the design and structural area for crafting the forms and making sure the wall stayed up.

On another note, we want to send our congratulation out to Brother Jims daughter for her new position that she will take over this coming year.

Also remember that October and November are move up nights for the line.  I would also like to thank Brother Mike for getting the gutters installed on the Lodge.  I know this will help our water run off problem.

                  Let us keep our Brothers and sisters in our thoughts as they recover from their illness. Brothers Mike, Brian, and Brother Bob Harper’s wife
